We're thrilled to sell t-shirts that represent The Amistad's brand and legacy. The design features our journal's masthead across the front chest. On the back, is a beautiful quote by Howard alumni Zora Neale Hurston which sits below our spine mark.

The shirts were screen printed by local DC design company, A Life Well Dressed. They are of extremely high quality with an image that will not fade. The fabric is extremely soft and breathable. The shirts are available in grey or beige. We have small, medium, large, x-large, & xx-large. All shirts are $20.00 with free shipping.*

We are not making a profit from any t-shirt sales. All proceeds will go towards a fund that assists Howard creative writing students with publishing, MFA applications, creative writing contest fees, conferences, or other ways which can help elevate their careers.

Since we're a small literary journal, we're always looking for funds to help us expand. Feel free to make a donation. The money will be used to help cover the costs of publishing as well as assisting students with their writing goals.

We're a small journal trying to raise money. In order to keep things simple, the cost of domestic shipping is included in the price. Items will be shipped within 5-7 business days.

RETURNS
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

Returns You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
