SUBMISSIONS

Like the works of authors such as Octavia Butler and N.K. Jemisin, Afrofuturism as a genre centers Black identity and culture in a future imagined for us, and by us. It incorporates the art we create into technology and science fiction. The student editorial team at The Amistad calls upon the Howard community for creative work that blends Black identity, art, and history with the imagined worlds of the past and future. No submissions will be accepted after January 31st.
